Good to know before you drive the passes
- Season: We rent from April to October. The best pass days are usually between June and early October; in spring there can still be snow above 2,000 m.
- Time of day: Before 9 am the big passes are at their quietest. From midday cars share the road with coaches, motorbikes and cyclists.
- Closures: On the Sellaronda Bike Day in June and September and in severe weather some passes are closed. Check before you set off.
- Weather: In rain, snow or on wet roads the Lotus stays in. We move your date free of charge within the same season.
- Fuel: Super Plus 100 only – ideally in the valley before you head up.
- Driving style: The passes are public roads. Speed limits, cyclists and oncoming traffic come before the racing line.
Routes are non-binding recommendations. Please check road conditions, closures and weather before you set off. Permitted area: South Tyrol, Trentino and the province of Belluno.
Frequently asked questions
Which Dolomite passes are best for a sports car?
